This collection contains administrative and promotional materials related to these events. ![]() USFRA has operated a number of land speed racing events throughout history, including Bonneville Speed Week, the World of Speed, and the Land Speed Opener. All attempts are automatically considered for BOTH FIM & AMA.1940 2005 Quantity 23 boxes, (12 linear feet) Collection Number ACCN 2304 Summary The Utah Salt Flats Racing Association records is a collection of material from the Utah Salt Flats Racing Association (USFRA), an amateur land speed racing association operating on the Bonneville Salt Flats in Wendover, Utah. It is located along I-80 near the Utah-Nevada border. You DO NOT have to submit a separate AMA entry, your FIM entry includes eligibility for AMA records- provided you meet the class requirements for the AMA. Stretching over 30,000 acres, the Bonneville Salt Flats is a fragile resource administered by the Bureau of Land Management. Also 1/2 Price Gate entry ($50ea) for each rider/Crew member when purchased with registration. FIM pre-entry fee includes unlimited runs, an event participant T-shirt & goodie bag, eligibility for World Records, provided all criteria are fulfilled. In addition to the FIM information that you must submit to AMA/your FMN, you are required to complete your Entry Form and submit your event fees prior to the 30 day deadline (July 26 2023). **REQUIRED DOCUMENTATION**: FIM Licensing information and documentation > This entry is conducted under the competition rules of the FIM.
